Important Information About Student Accommodation and Campus Developments
Tyne Coast College and South Shields Marine School are preparing for an exciting new future. As part of these developments, Dr Winterbottom Halls of Residence will close in early 2027, ahead of the move to our new student accommodation at 1 Harton Quay on the River Tyne. The College will also relocate to its new campus in South Shields town centre, providing enhanced facilities for learning, support and student life. We remain committed to ensuring a smooth transition for students and parents and will continue to share updates as plans progress.

Please be aware that we now only accept accommodation bookings for stays of 12 weeks or longer.
